初となる個展では、タイトルを「飼育」とした。
本展覧会では、実際に育てている生き物たちを描いた作品のほか、果物や植物など身近な存在をテーマとしている。

ペットのアオダイショウやボールパイソン、ヒキガエルのほか、カイコの繁殖経験を通して得られた実感をもとに制作した。
爬虫類の持つ湿ったような質感や鱗、シュガースポットのあるバナナの皮と果肉など、動植物の特有の質感表現を目指した。
技法的には、絵絹の透過性を活かした裏彩色や裏箔を用いるほか、薄く絵具を何度も暈し重ねる方法を用い、湿潤な空気感を目指した。
絹本作品18点を同一空間に展示した。
 

Breeding was presented as my first solo exhibition. The works depict living creatures that I personally raise, alongside familiar elements of nature such as fruits and plants. Through the long-term care and observation of Japanese rat snakes, silkworms, and ball pythons, the paintings were developed through direct observation and drawing from life.

In this context, “breeding” does not imply control or reproduction, but refers to sustained care and coexistence over time. Aiming to convey the moist, organic textures inherent to animals and plants, I carefully painted on silk, a material that allows subtle transparency and depth.

Drawing upon techniques acquired through the practice of copying classical paintings, I apply these methods as a foundation for contemporary expression. Eighteen silk paintings were exhibited together within a single space, emphasizing the continuity between traditional techniques and present-day painting practice.
